An excellent all-around dining experience. Very tasty seafood dishes, super friendly service, and a cosy, intimate atmosphere. I'd highly recommend the mussel 'popcorn' starter and the king prawn and mussel linguine. Exquisite!
What a gem! The food quality was superb, from the sweetest of fresh oysters to the lightest of batter on the mussels popcorn. The menu is true to the fish/seafood cause with dishes that are rather unique (in a good way!). Service was friendly and excellent, and the restaurant itself has a cosy but contemporary look, so it was easy to relax and enjoy. I've already picked out what I'd like to order next time we go!

Having a big birthday was a great reason to have lunch here. Jamie has created an intimate welcoming space with absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Treated myself to oysters, followed by incredible mussels in an abundance of fabulous chilli and garlic, which I mopped up with the sourdough and skin on fries. All washed down with bottle of Aspall cider. It was so good I can't wait to return.
Really enjoyed the food. Olives were some of the nicest I've ever had. Mussels were lovely and the fries. Highly reccomend. We will return to try other food which looks great too. Only critic would be that sour dough is a nice bread but I don't think it goes well with mussels and needs a nice white loaf.
Brilliant visit to the new savages mussel bar. We have always been a fan since discovering these guys at the picturedrome and followed through to the red willow and absolutely thrilled they've opened their own place. The food did not disappoint. A lovely little restaurant meaning the atmosphere was fantastic. Despite being busy the service was fab too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of seafood.
